I read a tiny book. Only 120 pages. But boy, those 120 pages packed a wallop.
Passing, by Nella Larsen was written and published in the late 1920s. But it could easily have been written today, almost 100 years later. And that’s pretty sad, considering what it’s about.

Exquisitely written, intricately layered. Begs to be reread, pondered, and discussed.

Interesting read but didn't work for me as a story.
