"The Harder They Come" is a Boyle novel doing what Boyle does best, putting contrasting world views in conflict. In this case the conflict is between a schizophrenic, a retired Marine and high school principal and a horse groomer who has extreme Timothy McVeigh-style anti-government views.

One of my very favorite authors, he didn't disappoint. Interesting characters (altho not likeable people), Northern Calif. setting, and his usual great writing that keeps you turning pages.
