This is a dark eerie chilling story that kept the suspense high throughout the book. I was captivated from the beginning and there was never a point where it was comfortable to put this fast paced novel down; the short chapters just had me saying to myself –“ just one more chapter and I will put the book down” but that never happened until the end.

I found this compelling and thrilling. A clever plot which involves terrible crimes but without gruesome detail. Not sure how good the rest of the series will be but I look forward to seeing Helen Grace develop
