This was enough of a play-book for what happened in the 2016 election, I was quite seriously attaching 2016 names to the actors and wondering if Steve Bannon used it as a play-book.
The key drivers of disatisfaction from a segment of the population which was being economically left behind, and their revolt against "the elites" and wealthy as a spark to hand-control to the government to a bunch of outsiders sounds very familiar.
