Robin Ellacott is sent a leg in the mail and Cormoran Strike is convinced the sender has to be one of three men from his past. Really enjoy this series. I found this one especially suspenseful. I listened to much of it while I was on a daily walk and many times looked behind me to make sure nobody was sneaking up on me, even though I was in broad daylight with lots of people around.
Parts of it were a bit gruesome, which I usually hate, but I so enjoy the characters that those parts mostly didn't bother me. ...more

This was an interesting crime novel that could have been great (the backstories for each of the suspects were terrific) but it was too long and too repetitive. JK seems to have rejected editing. Sidekick Robin was particularly whingy in this book too. Not my favorite.
