What Members Thought
After reading and loving "One Crazy Summer" and "P.S. Be Eleven" with my 11-year-old, we couldn't wait to get our hands on Gone Crazy in Alabama. The whole bigamy storyline threw me for a loop in the beginning, and there was a moment when I felt a bit uneasy about reading this book aloud to my daughter. My concerns were without merit. This book is great. Everything "non-traditional" about this middle grade story is what makes it a fantastic read. It is laugh out loud funny and quietly touching.
