Thoroughly enjoyable account of mogul Henry Flagler's efforts to build a railway all the way down through the Florida Keys, a heroic effort nearly on a par with building the Panama Canal and other feats of notable civic engineering. Flagler was John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil partner, so of course he had huge resources at his disposal.
