I really loved this book-and I can't stop recommending it to others. I enjoy historical fiction, but I especially liked the science discussions in this as well and though I'm not fond of romance, this one was just right in how it portrayed the courtship. I am grateful she had a friend, Helen, who was able to be such a great source of support. Horrible writing. Interesting subject.
Couldn’t even finish this. Such heavy description of irrelevant “scenes” as if the author is showing off their background research. And then so much speculation that the research doesn’t come close to justifying. Fictionalized biography should still get the basic outlines correct.
