We enjoyed this read aloud to complement our history lessons about Ancient Mesopotamia. While weaving an interesting tale the author also brought to life some of the beliefs, past-times, careers, economy family life, architecture, government, laws and religion believed to have existed around the Mesopotamian city-sate Ur.
