What Members Thought
I confess, these Hornblower novels don't hold my attention very well. I read them only to get to the end of the series because I'm stubborn that way and if I say I'm going to do something I want to do it to the end.
That said, this novel did have some interesting features like the setting (The Baltic Sea, mostly), the new Mrs. Hornblower, and an assassination attempt.
