Snow Treasure is the book my husband has often told me was his favorite childhood book. I got an opportunity to listen to it recently. And I am pleased I read it.

It was first published in 1942, and it's the story of a town in Norway during the time that the country was occupied by the Nazis from Germany. This was one of my favorite childhood books. I think I read it in 5th grade for the first time and it was one of the first YA books I shared with my kids (the first being Night of the Twisters). It is a good one to occasionally re-visit.
