I only tried reading this one once, not sure why goodreads says twice.
I hated the style the author used to tell the story -- good reason for giving up on the novel!
Here's a sample from page one:
I move. Cars move. Stock, it bends light, City opening itself behind. Here's to be for its life is the bite and would be start of mine.
