What a novel! It says 'thriller' on the cover, and thrilling it is. Sometimes I had to cover up the page at the end of a chapter because the tension was unbearable and I knew there would be a cliff hanger. The twists and turns, the jump starts and pages of indefinable and growing threat, the whole premise of 'woman living alone in secluded villa with her dog', the priceless dialogue (over chapters and chapters) of the confrontation between the woman and the man whom she suspects to be a murderer
