Fiendishly clever, indeed! I loved this historical fiction/victorian mystery which includes the larger than life Oscar Wilde and his consultant/friend Arthur Conan Doyle. I loved that I could visualize Lower Sloane Square, and SoHo, and so many other London streets and locations. It is a good romp and inspires me to read some Oscar Wilde including "Dorian Gray" and Sherlock Holmes mysteries from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Very fun on many levels!
