I finished reading The Death of A Beekeeper by Lars Gustafsson at the same time I heard about the death of Agnes Varda. It is just coincidence, of course. But I believe, both are examples of the word, "persistence". Agnes is so persistent to her choice and style of filmmaking, of which we can still see in her latest film, before her death. While Lars Lennart Destin "Weasel", ex-teacher turned beekeeper, persisted in keeping his pain, which he treated as another living being inside his body.
