My first time reading Eka Kurniawan and I'm lovin it! The tension, the building anticipation, the very detailed description and delicious flow- I enjoyed all of them.
The story is a bit absurd of course - about an unexpected and unexplained murder happened in a small village in Indonesia - but the way Eka brought us back, layer by layer, to the day that started everything and moved forward to the final climax - perfect bookgasm.
