I loved this book, so well written, and interesting and fun. Dina seems like such an regular joe, popping out to the quik mart for treats for a guest at her quaint inn. And then, everything changes; she sees the body of another dog slaughtered in her neighborhood, and confronts the werewolf about the encroachment on his territory. Funny social commentary. Rewrites of old myths. Strong, independent main character who solves her own problems. I liked it.
I've read so much poor fantasy/romance recently that my expectations were very low, but this was really a pleasure. It was funny and charming and had me wishing for a sequel.
