The story of several young adults from different countries attempting to evacuate in front of the Soviet advance. I can't believe that the story of over 25,000 sea deaths in the Baltic Sea during this operation has been so largely forgotten. A great story.

It is hard to find a WWII event which hasn't been discussed to death but this may be it. Well worth your reading time.
