This one definitely has that narrated-car-crash feel, and Kelly does an excellent job of keeping the reader moving forward to see just how nasty and brutish the facts turn out to be. That said, I'm not a huge fan of how the ending is handled - it's far too abrupt and a little predictable, which is unfortunate because I think the denouement has more potential than what Kelly ultimately lays down. ...more
