I was on vacation last week in the Outer Banks, where this author was signing her books. I have visited the Bodie Island Lighthouse, and I know the area well. As I said with the first book in the series, how can I resist a library in a lighthouse, with a cat? Perfect book for my OBX vacation.
great mother daughter dynamics
This next Lighthouse mystery book was well written and the mystery quite shocking when it was revealed. Even more intriguing though are the characters and their relationships. There are some quirky personalities in the book and it is enjoyable to read about their interactions and behaviors. Makes for a delightful book

The second in the Lighthouse Mystery series, this book follows the main character as she has to clear her mother of a murder charge when her mother's enemy is found dead at the Lighthouse Library's wall. Quite a good read!
