After reading The Opposite of Loneliness, I thought I should wait a bit and digest it before reviewing...but really I should know myself better. Now I've gone and forgotten at least half of what I wanted to say.

I think it's amazing that this was written by someone in undergrad. That alone makes this book really compelling. There were some really great essays and some less than stellar ones, but of course this young writer was just not done. This is clearly the work of a writer discovering her voice and that she didn't have more time is a huge loss.
