I usually really enjoy reading books set in places that I know. So, the DC factor really appealed to me. This book was just ok. I didn't really find myself caring much about the characters like I thought I would.

What a lovely book. Well-polished effort by a first-time novelist. For a former Washingtonian it rings true about DC, and I love the family dynamics and imperfections. Quite nice. A smart woman's chick lit escape.
