From the description, I didn't think I'd like this book-- backwoods good old boys selling first bootleg liquor then drugs, but it was highly praised by some folks I trust so I read it. It is excellent . Although told from multiple viewpoints and in many different time periods, it is easy to follow and the prose flows. To top it off the ending is outstanding. Do yourself a favor and don't read the end first or else you will ruin the best part of the book.
