What Members Thought
This book was great, and it was so quintessentially 'French' that I felt like I was in Paris. I have visited there several times, and this book took me right back to all the sensual experiences I have had there. (Both good and bad, for example, the smell of the hot streets in a July heat wave!) The story was wonderful and so powerful, with great themes of loss and love and living one's life as one should, instead of in the ways others think you should. This was definitely a gem of a read!

Mouth-watering descriptions of chocolate and loving depictions of Paris. What’s not to like? A fun summer read. If you like the movies French Kiss (Kevin Cline and Meg Ryan) and Chocolat (Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp), then you’ll probably enjoy this romantic comedy as well.
