Read as an ebook and enjoyed it more than expected. Had picked this up as a recommendation from our librarian about a book with X as title for Alphabet reading challenge - I learned more about Malcolm X and was really surprised about his youth and early adult life until prison. I think he writing was good and reviews based on displeasure with how he lived his life at that time should not reflect the displeasure but the merits of the author and how well the story was told.
