This was an exciting, informative book about an awe-inspiring storm that kills crew members aboard the Andrea Gail. It was slightly slow reading because there is so much fact involved, but interesting nonetheless. The power of bad weather can really go unnoticed unless you are truly exposed to the elements. Imagine a 70 foot wave that can contort steel to a completely unrecognizable shape - that is power. It is sad to think of the fates of these poor men who submitted to a powerful storm. I don'

I was glad I listened to this book on tape. There was a LOT of descritpion of weather, ships, fisheing equipment etc. that I found really interesting but don't know that I would ahve stayed with the book.
