This was just as much fun as the first one and even more over the top, if that’s possible! Reading this is so much like watching a soap opera and I was totally hooked and the pages just flew by!

This is not great literature, but it is a fun distraction and I will be looking forward to the next in the series. It's such an unbelievable soap opera, but I can relate to the underlying biases of the family members. I'm no Rachel, but I've witnessed or experienced some of the statements of bias that are present in the novel from one generation to the next. I especially enjoy the language idioms, but in audiobook format, the introduction of the footnote can be a bit distracting. ...more
