This was a fun memoir that I enjoyed listening to as an audiobook. Amy Poehler is a great storyteller and she included multiple guest narrators that added to the reading. The book is a fun read relaying stories from her childhood all the way up until her final season on Parks and Recreation. It is a great look at all the steps it takes to become a successful writer and actress. There are glimpses of her life outside Hollywood, including her 2 sons and her relationships with friends and family.

Excellent book! Part memoir, part comedy, part self help. Maybe it's the timing, but it seems like just the book I needed as I entered my late 20s. She really inspires you to try to do what you love and to be kind and generous. I underlined many lines that will probably end up in decorative lettering on Pinterest.
