I really have to stop reading YA romance. They are all the same and they all leave me bored to tears or rolling my eyes or making my blood pressure rise.
Here is what they all have in common:
1) Heroine that is Too Dumb to Live
2) Male lead that has all the Power - seriously all the Money, all the Looks, all the Physical Strength
3) Sex & violence are combined in a disturbing way and later portrayed as somehow "romantic" - The hero rapes his newest sex slave at the beginning of this book during whic ...more

This was an interesting and fast paced book. I could not put it down and so finished it quickly. My misgivings:
-I had a sneaking suspicion as I was reading it that this was a romance novel (without gratuitous sex): The 2 main hot guys in the story are way too hot to believe. The main character is the perfect babe, although I can't see what is SO special about her that the 2 guys are going nuts over her. She's pretty, she's quick-witted, she reminds the king of his mother, she makes carpets tingl ...more
