Luan Starova wrote this biography of his father (the beginning of a 10 volume Balkan saga) in Macedonia. Starova, born in Albania in 1941 moved with his family across a lake to Macedonia, when Albania was locked down in fascism. In this short book, we see the love of language, literature, homeland and family. Starova's father collects a huge library of books on the Ottoman empire and family histories.
