Africa. Hic sunt leones. And wounds and war and many other atrocities. Angola had it's share of all these and this novel is putting the recent history of the country in the spot light.
There is just a small thing which I usually do not like in such novels, written during or after authoritarian regimes: parables. But I get it is a problem with the censorship in such regimes. ...more
