Nu știu însă cât de bine aș putea descrie această carte, deoarece m-a tulburat atât de tare, încât lasă urme adânci. Imaginea Palestinei în plin război, moartea, boala, suferința, sunt toate elemente ale unei cărți greu de descris, dar atât de frumos construită. Mari așteptări nu pot spune că aveam, deoarece autoarea și stilul său de a scrie îmi erau total necunoscute. Dar să știți că am descoperit apoi o carte de care nu m-am mai putut dezlipi.

Sigh. I feel the same way about this as I felt about her other book--I *wanted* to love it but there was just too much different stuff going on...coincidences, storylines, plot, everything.
