I'm not going to rate this book because I didn't like it. Disciples of Psssion is told in the first person, a patient in a mental institution, and there isn't any other perspective. The main character had been captured in his hometown in Lebanon during the Civil War (80s?) and was tortured by his captors. So, my guess is that he suffered from a form of PTSD.
