What Members Thought
This was a lucky find in the library, and it was really a 4.5 for me- Nevo can write! His writing is clever, wise and at times funny, he captures relationships and moments between people perfectly. The setting is completely foreign to me, but I felt like I knew the place. Several generations of Jews, wandering in their own ways and coping with their own trauma. Several Promised Lands, and characters with unexpected connections. Great read, and I'll be looking for more of his books.
