What Members Thought
You need to know what you're getting into when you read this book. It's a middle grade horror. While it might give sensitive kids nightmares, it's also a well-written page turner. My 10-year-old did not like it. He gives it 2 stars. Like many of us who yell at the characters in horror movies who behave completely illogical during intense scenes, my son was frustrated by the poor judgment and choices of many of the characters, especially the parents who at one point left their troubled young son

This book was bizarre and absolutely terrifying. I'm giving it 5 stars because I've never read anything like it, and it was a compulsive read. I finished in one sitting. But DEFINITELY 10+ at least. (I would not give this to MY 10 year old, though.)
