What Members Thought
The experience of Bucharest and Romania in WWII is completely fresh for me and a welcome vantage point after reading so much about Britain and France. I enjoy these books even as not very much happens besides visits to the English Bar and fights over leaving the country. The characters are all a bit insufferable but somehow you feel like you know them and can make excuses for their eccentricities.
