The author writes using far, far too many superlatives. So cliché. I made it through the book but I felt Wilbur Smith was writing in low level language.

This is the eighth book in the Courtney series... which I haven't read in order, haha..as always. I was really disappointed in this one, especially after reading "When The Lion Feeds" (and loving that one).

What do you do when you hate both the main characters. I should say "dislike" but that might imply I like them a little. In fact most of the characters were annoying. It also covers a lot of politics ...I hate politics! The story only got good after page 400 when everything was getting wrapped
