What Members Thought
My first thought was this book was a cross between a Hallmark movie and a Harlequin novel. I enjoyed the description of a family owned resort on a private island, but the dysfunction of the family took away some of the pleasure. The conflicts between the siblings and their father wasn’t totally clear initially. The parts I disliked the most were the gratuitous sex scenes. I just totally skipped over them. The most exciting part of the whole book was the last couple chapters.
