I get drawn into Anne Tyler novels although wasn't particularly keen on the years and decades passing in a few pages.I also found it hard to accept that Lindy could so easily come back into the family fold after the heartbreak she would have caused but probably symptomatic of the characters that Tyler creates that no-one would let their emotions go.
Well written but never really got engrossed or really cared about the characters. ...more
