Look at the title. Look at the cover. Look at the author.

Be honest with yourself. You knew what you were getting when you decided to read this book.

Emotional conflict. Drama. Woman's point of view. Right?

If that's what you sought, you will rate this book high.

If you were expecting Tom Clancy, you aren't going to make it past chapter one. (Hint: Next time look for a submarine or a big gun on the front cover.)

I actually accidentally purchased this on my kindle. I intended to download a sample and instead but the whole thing. Don't regret it at all.

I really enjoyed this book, though admittedly it took a bit to get into it. And while I picked up on the foreshadowing, I definitely didn't call the ending, though I did find it a bit unbelievable. It's a great saga of the parallel and sometimes intersecting stories of two families.

There's nothing wrong with this except that it's kind of boring and I could spend my time reading something... better. Anyone have a reason I should finish this? Maybe it becomes incredible, but by page 40, I feel like dropping it. ...more
