Wow! I had no idea what I was getting into when I started this! This series has incredible and well drawn characters, great story line and a far reaching vision. I started reading last night and ended up buying and reading three in one sitting (my eyes are still burning!). A very good read, also, no smut, no romance and silly wooing, just Eureka (the town) having a very bad millenium.

The book begins with a man waking up next to a river with no memory. Soon he realizes he is Ethan Burke an agent with the Secret Service sent to Wayward Pines, Idaho to find two missing colleagues. Ethan soon realizes something is very wrong with the town. i can't say more without giving away any of the twists and turns in the plot. This book was very creepy with lots of action. The book does eventually explain things which I'm glad of, I wasn't sure it would since this is part of a trilogy. I p

More like 3.5 stars. Weird, if Divergent and LOST had a baby, it'd be Pines.
