This is a good story which involves a scandal in the fashion industry, a missing manuscript which threatens to tell all about the scandal, a murdered messenger, the missing author of the manuscript, a too-perfect nosy mother, a possible love interest, and the many threads that tie all of these things together. Solving all of these mysteries is left up to Samantha Clair, who is a book editor, and who is not happy when he flat is broken into, suspicion rests on people she wants to be able to trust
