What Members Thought
This one wasn’t as good as I hoped it would be. I read The Priory of the Orange Tree a couple of years ago and really liked it. I’m picky about fantasy, but I do enjoy it when I find the right books. I main criticism of The Bone Season is that I can really feel the youth of the author, and not in a good way. It feels immature. There’s way too much world building that just feels like it’s trying to be clever for the sake of being clever. Like, I was halfway through the book before I felt settled
