Genova doing what she does best, telling the human story behind a devastating disease. I enjoyed this book, but it was not one of her best. The story was very slow and dry in the beginning. Some of the characters lacked depth and some story lines were short and abrupt. The book gives a good depiction of Huntington's Disease but I wanted more from the family story.

What a memorable tribute to those people suffering from Huntington's Disease and their families. To know you have an incurable disease that is so debilitating added to its genetic origin, has to be truly devastating, not to mention the physical pIN ASSOCIATED WITH IT.
