Read for "Potluck and Prose" book club meeting held in August 2016.
I hosted this rather disappointing book club meeting, which only garnered a handful of attendees. Part of the problem was that most everyone who initially was scheduled to come apparently found this book irredeemably depressing, and in fact I was the only one to finish it! Also, I live fairly far away from most of the other club members. However, I found the book to be a powerful, if painful, “grief memoir”. ...more
