I would rate The Book of Strange New Things a 3.5. I felt like I was reading this book for a long, long time, and it moved at the speed of molasses. However, it was thought provoking and I'm sad Michael Faber will not be writing another novel. This is the October book for Friendly Readers and I'm glad I finished it before the discussion. I hope others finished because I think there's quite a bit to discuss. ...more
