I do not think there is anything wrong with this book per se and I think many people will enjoy this dark tale of politics and murder. It simply was not my cup of tea.

Sometimes confusing with the rampant nicknames and aliases, but an interesting hero and an engaging depiction of the harsh realities of interwar Germany makes it worthwhile.
