Agatha Raisin is reliably good for a fun, quick read. This particular installment seemed to tangle in a few too many assistant detectives for my taste, but these mysteries, if a bit predictable, are always entertaining. The rating may seem high for a very light mystery, but Agatha Raisin is sometimes just what I need.

This is an okay entry in this series. Agatha has lots of help for her cases and solves them all. The characters of Roy, Charles, and of course, James Lacey are all very interesting in terms of her relationship with them, a subplot which adds to the story.
