Paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant, his student Ellie Sattler and mathematician In Malcolm are taken to Isla Nublar to check out an island park they spent a little bit of time helping plan. Can't believe I never read this! I really enjoyed the book, and immediately watched the movie. I think, even with all the excitement of seeing the dinosaurs on screen, that I liked the book better.
