3.5 stars. A lot of reviews of this book have compared it to Gone Girl. I have not read Gone Girl, yet (and I don't know if I will), so I can't make the comparison myself. I didn't like the narrators pretty much throughout the book, until the very end. My favorite character was Cathy, all the others were difficult to like. I am still not sure what I think of the book, but I can say that once I got far enough into, I didn't put it down until I finished it. I had to find out what happened.

Rachel Watson is an alcoholic who was has lost her job but still travels by train daily to make her roommate think she's still employed. While traveling Rachel becomes interested in a couple she names Jason and Jess who lives a few doors down from where her former husband and his new wife reside. Definitely the page-turner it promises to be. A fast-paced fulfilling read that does not compromise the depth of the characters. If you liked 'Gone Girl' you'll enjoy this one.
